"Breadline" was a commended entry in the UK Songwriting Competition. It was was hailed in NARC Magazine by Steve Spithray as a "great... reworking of 60s garage" and likened it to both Alabama 3 and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds.
Michael O'Neill, also of NARC described "Sandy" as "A gloriously authentic slice of dusty, bluesy Americana... delivered in a phenomenal vocal performance... from a clearly talented bluesman." He also praised Brass Monkey's second single "Nowhere" as "an admirable home-spun slab of blues scuzz." Joe Dert of Verbz Up Magazine claimed it deserved to be on an action movie soundtrack.

"Miracle's" launch was covered by NARC., NE Volume, the COOLTOP20 & the Stereo Jo show. The following is from Brecon Indie Reviews:
"Your Voice and the overall sound of the song and "tude jumped back to the elite lte 60s Classic Rock, with a vein of Folk, that gives the song a platform making the contemporary edges noteworthy. Love the gravel Vocal bit, nice add! The Lyrics are clever, theme hooked well."
